P1 Miss Edgar
Welcome to our Primary 1 Class Page!
We hope that you will drop by and have a look at this page on a regular basis because Miss Edgar just loves to upload pictures of us having a great time playing and learning in P1. Take a look below at some of the things we have already been up to from September until now.
THE DAY I TOOK MY LITTLE MONKEYS TO THE ZOO!
Shared Education Outing to Montalto
The weather was against us but we could not be put off!
Such a fun filled day!
PTA Sponsored Walk May 2019
What an absolutely AMAZING day for our PTA Sponsored Walk! The children and the adults have had a ball. If you get the chance and haven't already been to visit, DO IT!! I will be taking my own girls sometime soon!
Have you ever taken colours for a walk??
In science today P1 took the primary colours for a walk and watched as they met at the top of the tissues and blended to make new colours!
Odd socks and colourful socks to raise
awareness of World Down Syndrome Day.
Lots of Socks Campaign 2019 "Leave no one Behind."
We are SUPER SORTERS!!
All we need are our Super Sorter, Super Hero capes!
Spring has finally arrived in P1 and we have already been flat out busy with Pancake Tuesday and World Book Day!
We brought our old books to school and took part in a book swop with our friends. There's nothing like leaving school armed with a new bedtime story! We also had fun making pancakes with Mrs Robinson. We added, we stirred, we mixed, we cooked AND WE ATE!!! They were yummy. Then we went onto the playground and using a meter stick we measured out 15m on the tarmac- the length of the world's widest pancake!!!!
February in P1....The messier and more colourful the better!!!
A very busy task time in P1!
Take a look at our pattern work with the beads and tiles. The blue table are busy sequencing the numbers to 10 while the reds use the iPads to practise their phonics skills. Aren't we just amazing??!!
Room on the Broom / Potions and Spells!
Literacy, Numeracy and World Around Us have all been such good fun in October because they have had a little bit of magic sprinkled over them!
We had such good fun using slime to learn about measures. We have learnt all about empty, full, almost full and OVERFLOWING!! Charlie and Evelyn estimated how many jugs we would need to fill each test tube...they were almost spot on!!!
ICT Whizz Kids
We've been visiting the ICT Suite to brush up on our mouse control skills.
We've also been practising logging on using our very own logon details!
Stars of the Show
Shining stars and woolly bundles!!
