Sports Day 2025
Sports Day Fun for Nursery to P3!
Our youngest pupils in Nursery to P3 had a fantastic time at this year’s Sports Day! Moving around a range of activity stations in their class groups, the children had the chance to showcase and develop their Fundamental Movement Skills, including running, jumping, balancing, and throwing and are the building blocks for physical confidence and future sporting success.
It was a joy to see the children’s enthusiasm and teamwork as they participated in each activity. A special thank you to all the parents, grandparents, and family members who came along to cheer them on — your encouragement and support meant so much to the children and made the day extra special!
P4–P7 Sports Day Challenge!
Later in the day, it was the turn of our P4 to P7 pupils — and what an afternoon it was! Competing in their House groups of Montalto, Magheradroll, Croob, and Edenavaddy, the children moved around a series of high-energy activity stations. At each stage, they had five minutes to perform and complete as many circuits as possible, and the effort and determination on display were incredible.
The tension was palpable as pupils gave it their all, with older children cheering on and encouraging their younger teammates. It was brilliant to see such teamwork, sportsmanship, and house pride shining through at every station.
Once again, a heartfelt thank you to all the parents and grandparents who turned out in great numbers to support the children — your enthusiastic cheers created a wonderful atmosphere. A very special thank you must also go to our fantastic PTA parents for their unwavering support and for keeping everyone fuelled with tea, coffee, and delicious traybakes (which went down a treat!).
Well done to everyone involved for making it such a memorable, fun-filled Sports Day!
